Over 36 years ago, three unemployed Ukiahans borrowed $30,000 from their parents and started Ukiah Paper Supply, Inc. After a rough start, with the three founders getting situated and learning everything about the paper trade, they were able to turn the company into a booming business and a leader in the industry. Today, thanks to our customers, our business and our employees' committed service, Ukiah Paper Supply, Inc. consists of 9 employees with annual sales of over $1,500,000.
One of the things that helped us through the start-up years was a policy of listening to customer and employee suggestions. Many recommendations on pricing or product changes were implemented and resulted as a win-win for everyone. We still observe this policy and welcome your suggestions. We are committed to our customers and are willing to be flexible and accommodating to meet their needs.
You will be happy to know that the original lenders' parents finally got their money back even though it did take 14 years.
