Texas Tool Traders was incorporated in 1973 by the founders; a High School sweethearts couple that risked it all to make a name for themselves in the tool business. They started selling tools at the Houston flea markets until they could open up their first retail outlet at 5900 North Freeway in Houston, Texas (which still is in operation today). Now, almost 40 years later, their goal of being one of the top tool businesses in Texas is still being fulfilled every day with customer service that is unmatched and prices that are very competitive in the marketplace.

Throughout the years, our business has come from word of mouth so we have never had to spend a single dollar on advertising. Our service speaks volumes for our success. We operate 14 retail outlets (6 in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, 4 in and around Houston, 2 in Austin, and 2 in San Antonio) and a home office location that cover a good portion of the large state of Texas. Fifty percent of our yearly sales come from the sale of fasteners but the other fifty percent comes from a wide variety of hand and power tools, automotive tools, lawn and garden tools, and a mixed variety of other things. We are authorized dealers for DeWalt, Hitachi, Porter-Cable, Delta, Makita, Milwaukee, Bosch, Stanley Works, Stanley Bostitch, Rol-Air, Irwin, Freud and many other assorted brands of products. As mentioned earlier, we have been in the retail business for almost 40 years now so buy with confidence knowing that we have the product knowledge and pricing to take care of any need you may have before, during and after your purchase from us.
