1940s: From Humble Beginnings

In 1947, following World War II, Bill Senske started a small lawn care and pest control company in Spokane, Wash.
It was probably the first modern-style lawn care business in the nation.
Bill's wife, Liz, served as the entire office staff. This allowed Bill to focus on ridding the city of more than 10,000 rats.
Thanks to Bill, Spokane was designated a rat-free city in 1952.

This established his reputation as the region's top pest control and lawn care expert
