We train and equip evangelical Christian pilots for mission aviation ministry, including meeting qualifications for major mission organizations and training directly for service with smaller aviation ministries. There is a serious shortage of pilots serving in remote locations around the world, where aviation is the most practical means of transportation for church planters, Bible translators, health care workers and patients, and disaster relief efforts. MATA trains pilots to help meet the shortfall of missionary pilots in order to spread the Gospel farther and faster.
